WEC Carolina Energy Solutions

About the Company

In 1998, Carolina Energy Solutions was founded to meet the need for a compact, fast track company able to handle both stand alone installations and compliment the larger EPC’s with their endeavors. Now a subsidiary of WEC Welding and Machining, WEC Carolina Energy Solutions' ability to work on new, retrofit or maintenance projects are greater than ever before.  Backed by the financial strength and resources of Westinghouse Electric Company, WEC Carolina Energy Solutions has the equipment, experience, and know-how to install new components or repair existing systems, in most environments.

Our central work force consists of more than 150 manual and orbital technicians who are qualified to work anywhere in the U.S. and abroad. This core group may expand to as many as 600 technicians depending on the season and our workload.

To ensure that we will continue to meet the challenging task of finding qualified field welders, we maintain the WEC Welding Institute—one of the premiere training schools in the region.  It’s known throughout the industry for graduating welders who are dependable, well versed in the latest technological procedures and safety practices, and prepared to address even the toughest projects right from the start.
